New years eve 2012-13-FUCK the municipality of Thessaloniki
This year i decided with my family 2 finish with the year to 2012 and welcome the new year 2013 @ the center of Thessaloniki @ Aristotelous square,like all poor people and imigrants like us, usually do.Usually to all cities of the world,even to the most small and isolated ones, there is some kind of event or happening organized by the municipality and it usualy takes place @ the main village square and this thing is happening so that all peasants stay happy and satisfied with their goverment.
23:50- I reached the center and i start going down the Aristotelous pedestrian street, together with other people heading to the christmas tree where the new year was going to come.So i was walking among all these joyfull faces with a small bottle of rum in my pocket and im sure that they also saw the same joy on my face and for sure they also had something small in their pockets (like rockets). As i was approaching the main christmas tree there was an anusuall muteness in the atmosphere. All these joyfull faces now where looking at each other wandering.There was no nothing, not even a small children choir, not even a hippie with guitar, or the local important person with a microphone, not even the raver with the car sound system. no NOTHING...you could hear flies passing.And everybody where waiting for something to happen looking @ each other with these worried faces,pretending that everything is normal with this miserable atmosphere.
24:00----> Finally something happened,the owner of this big hotel had bought some firecrackers(the poor simple ones!) and launched them to the sky yeahhhhh.... Happy new year everybody,but i was far GONE from the square and also the small bottle was far gone from my pocket...

Although it was not what i expected , still it was better than spending the new years eve in front of some random TV channel with some ''family and friends''.
